NGO Name : Akasha Vidya
Date of Visit : 10 Dec 2008
Place of Visit : Village Sayana, UP.
Report : : The NGO was donated funds for purchase of three desks and one computer. Part of the fund was to be used to finance one set of clothes for one child. Verified the bills and the physical delivery of all the above things. Talked to the child and the parents. They were happy with the work of the NGO. There is perceptible improvement in the working environment. The NGO is maintaining better record of the work done as well as financial transactions.
Comments from beneficiaries:
Aarushi (11 Yrs) : I like to sit on the computer to play games. I also watch some cartoon clips loaded on the computer. I want to spend more time on computer than studying since this is more fun. We should get electricity for more hours.
Varun ( 6 Yrs) : I like coming to the school as I get to play with so many friends. I have two school dresses now.
